4. Thanks. one of his hernias strangulated. This has happened before, but
mom's was always there to take care of him and see him through the surgery. :( I can't be there tonight because I don't drive and have no way over there. Hopefully I can get to the hospital some time tomorrow.

6. Thanks. Hubby will drop in (he's the best son-in-law ever) and so will my
little bro and a family friend or two. But since I don't drive and have snall fry, I tend to get left home holding the fort. Nice in some ways, cause the kids bring me a lot of joy (in between their fist fights and house trashing bouts) but I still feel sad that I can't be there helping out too.
