Crap! Just when you get used to how good something works...
Edited on Tue Mar-22-05 09:43 PM by Prisoner_Number_Six
I bought this beautiful new 64 bit AMD motherboard a couple weeks ago, and have been having all kinds of fun with it (it's wicked fast). So today I go to reboot after installing some software, and allasudden all I get is some error code beeps. Upon doing some diagnostics (I am, after all, a computer repair geek), I determine that the AGP (graphics) bus has stopped working. Not only does the onboard graphics not work, but NO AGP card will work.

So now I'm stuck with a six year old PCI graphics card until I can trade in my mobo tomorrow. It's slow as can be for a machine that's inherently so bloody fast.

Wah. :cry:

Edit for Bouncy:

AGP = Accelerated Graphics Port
PCI = Peripheral Component Interconnect

Clear as mud now, eh? :evilgrin:

4. Another village idiot here
Not only did it sound INTERESTING, it sounded...well...AUTHORITATIVE!

All I could figure out is that something that is fast now is slow, and off to the computer store one must go!
