I agree, it's a great ad!

A few of the mainstream networks chose not to air it because it is "too controversial." ::eyes::

There's a UCC church in my city and the membership strikes me as a more liberal, accepting bunch.

In fact, by NOT airing it, the networks gave them plenty of FREE publicity, probably more than if they'd paid to run the ad.

4. I believe that's the one CBS refused to air.

If I'm not mistaken they refused to air it on the grounds that they were no longer accepting faith-based advertising except for previously established advertisers who were "grandfathered" in, like CLDS.

I could be wrong... anyone have a link?

And I love it! I hadn't gone to church for over 20 years until I found the UCC church. It's a great, welcoming place, and totally free of dogma.
