Any thoughts about Robert Blake?
Just curious. I always liked his acting. I don't have a problem divorcing an artist's work from their personal life, in fact, for me it's a necessity as a musician.

So I accept the not-guilty verdict without comment, at least for now.

Anyone have any thoughts about that guy, Robert Blake?

I find the whole case sordid.

2. Don't do the crime, if you can't do the time.
Otherwise have a good lawyer.

6. Robert Blake has played some mean characters-the one in "Lost Highway"
is EVIL.

8. He's old. He was found innocent. I do not know if he did it or not.
So I will not rush to judgment. He had his day in court. His peers said not guilty. And did I mention, he's old?

9. "Baretta" was dumb. But he was great in "In Cold Blood".
Wasnt he nominated for an Oscar for that role?

And I do think that he did it. Movie stars will always be exxonerated in LA.

11. I think he was innocent of killing her
The prosecution's case was a joke. No witness, no weapon, flimsy evidence.
Here is the prosecution's main case.

" The prosecution's circumstantial case hinged largely on the testimony of two the retired stuntmen who admitted under oath they had been hooked for years on drugs.

One of them, Gary "Whiz Kid" McLarty, acknowledged he suffered from paranoia culminating in a nervous breakdown in which he believed police were tunneling under his home.

The other, Ronald "Duffy" Hambleton, testified that Blake had proposed various scenarios to "pop" or "whack" his wife, including pushing her off the Grand Canyon. Two former roommates testified that Hambleton was a former methamphetamine user who suffered from hallucinations that "tree people" were stalking him. "

His wife had hundreds of people that she conned out of money. She made a lot of enemies and she played with a lot of fire. Out of everything I have seen on the case, I saw nothing that points to Blake as the killer.

13. I heard stories about her selling her worn underpants online
if that's what you mean, she brought lowlife in as a fact of life-if she did that.

15. She posted ads in the personals for years
She would then get replies and send them a picture of someone else. Then keep up correspondence with them and get money from them with the promise of meeting them. She did that for years with a lot of people.

12. I don't know
if he did it or not. But I'm glad he got off. The prosecution's case was pathetic. If they had been able to win with it, it would have been a tremendous miscarriage of justice.

14. That's where I'm at too-I don't know.
I accept the finding of not-guilty in the murder case and feel it's case closed. But I do entertain suspicions.
