Dear Red Sox fans: It's good that the next two games are in NY
Am I right in remembering that the visting team took most (if not all) of the series during the regular season between our beloved Red Sox and Satan's team? If I'm not, please set me straight--I don't have details to go on, but my general impression is being amazed that the Red Sox would take series in NY and vice-versa.

I'm not too discouraged--yet.

the number is not as dominant as you might think. But they can win there.

8. Reminds me of a story
That a Boston fan (Gammons?) told of the Red Sox' 172-4 season. Guess which four they lost?

3. You are correct
If Pettite is starting the next game then we should be all over him early.

I am not discouraged- at all.

5. Hope springs eternal...
then you wake-up.

Is anyone buying this? You realize this *is* October. AKA crunch time for the Yankees and self-immolation time for the Sox. It's a baseball tradition, ain't it?

7. Now, now you nasty Yankees fans!
I addressed this to Red Sox fans, but you had to have your two cents, didn't you?

I still think it's anyone's series. The Yankees have the edge since they're up 3-2, but I don't think Satan's Lair is that much of an edge for them.
