13. 2 1/2 years in Germany (Heidelberg)
I was going to school there. Sometimes wish I had not come back, and often think of returning. I would not move back to Heidelberg, though. If I could, I would like to live in Berlin.

Lived up in Ziegelhausen in a house that had a hole in the wall you could see outside through and water the color of strong tea that came out of the shower head. Good times, good times.

I worked in a very cool pub, eventually climbing my way up to chief cellarman. I went through a short training course at the City and Guilds of London Institute, too, which was pretty cool for a 21-year-old American kid :)

37. Yes, in Co. Down, Ireland from April 1997 til April 1998.
Then Mr. Wonderful and myself decided to come back to Chicago.

We are now seriously comtemplating returning to Ireland and this time for good.

When I was 26, I moved to Europe for more than two years, living in Spain for four months, Ireland for 18 months and traveling the rest of the continent for three months.

Now I live in Miami, which might as well be another country.
