RIP Mindy Jostyn (violinist/vocalist for Mellencamp, The Hooters, others)
I haven't found firm confirmation of this yet, but it would appear that violinist/vocalist Mindy Jostyn has died of colon cancer at the age of 43. Jostyn has played with John Mellencamp for years, and was a member of The Hooters for their last studio album. She also toured with Joe Jackson, among others.
