17. It will be right next to Giants Stadium - the new Giants Stadium

Hopefully the Giants and the state will finally settle and get the new stadium started. The last I heard was that Xanadu agreed not to open on days with Giant home games so I am hoping the stadium is on the fast track now too. I am in Bergen about 20 minutes from there.

when I hear these songs in my head I think Tears For Fears, Spandau Ballet, Thompson Twins, Suzanne Vega, Kate Bush, Simple Minds, Howard Jones, Cocteau Twins... when music wasn't afraid to be feminine and ethereal.

This film and "Tron" are secret favorites of mine.

Who played the male lead in that film any way, he kind of looked like Andy Gibb. I was a major ELO fan before Xanadu and this just sealed it.

it looks like he's getting ready to release a four album set and is doing activism.

I think what is going on is that the commercialism we are living in took away our generations need for nostalgia, they totatlly skipped right over gen xers, etc, and people are starting to demand that we have access to the music and the musicians that we knew growing up, just like the Boomers have always had. Everything is so homogenous and shitty with money now I can't take it.
