OH, CRAP! I just got back from a concert...
and I was hanging out in front, as is my wont, and enjoying the show, and the minors up there were all like, "Hey, you know all the words!" and "Hey, you pogo'ed all through that song!" in a very congratulatory sort of way, and now I'm all like: You know, I didn't appreciate that, minors, it's all like, congratulating your granny who knows how to rock out. And now I'm all like:

HEY, I'M OLD!!!!

Fuck. I hate these all-ages shows.

2. Thanks!
Damn kids with X's on their hands. You know, in my day, we were smart enough to bring in the nail polish remover and get that shit off so we could drink. And we walked uphill both ways to school too! In the snow! I'm just sayin. :7

Yes, all ages shows make me feel old. And when I see an attractive girl and then realize she is 17 or some crazy young age I feel like a dirty old man.

Mostly, I just have jokes with people.

You and I have Veronica, RA and I have the uncle thing, with Dark Leftist I have "come sit on my lap", with bigwillq I have "eggcited", I'm mean to StopTheMorans and he's mean back. Um who else do I banter with?

Maybe youre sometimes too drunk to tell but sometimes Veronica takes off her wig and sweater and changes in to a T shirt and jeans  Where is bigwillq anyhow, I recall he wanted Veronica.

You shouldnt feel bad if you tower over a guy, like my ideal height range for a girl is 5'4=5'9, myself.

I wasn't gonna go, because I have an earache, but since I didn't go out of town, I couldn't resist. And now my ear hurts too! And I'm OLD! Owwww!

Still, though, it was worth it. I :loveya: Old 97's.

15. They are indeed a Texas band.
They fall into that ill-defined genre sometimes called alt-country, or cowpunk, or something like that. sort of a pop-punk-country hybrid. most tasty and fun. like the bastard child of Johnny Cash and the Kinks. :)

I was older than the teacher. The other students were calling me sir. Sheesh ! I didn't think I looked like that much of an old fuck at 48.

25. You should have been with me one day at Target.
This was back in 93 and I found the The Boss on cd and I grabbed it. But it did not have a price tag on it. So I asked the girl to see how much The Boss was. and she said "who". I aged 10 years in that moment. I felt so old leaving there.

...was with a friend and one of the guys he works with. A little math, and we figured out that the work friend was 2 years old the first time I saw the Cramps.

I have to sit down now.

40. I'm old too, and I'm not trying to be cool.......
...But I'm really liking a new band: "Silvertide".

Good to see youngsters rediscover the roots of rock n roll.

They're comin' to Youngstown this month and I'm presented with the challenge of inspiring a couple buddies to go. (I may have to lie and tell them it's a blues band).

I'm sure there're gonna be a lot of kids there, but I'll take a seat at the bar. Just want to see the band.
