Whoa. But, he and his brothers made the whole thing so hilarious that it wasn't that bad, and the story itself is kind of interesting.

Then I just had to know how Darth Vader becomes Darth Vader (I hate loose ends), and now I know.

So that's pretty much it for me. I watched the VH1 special on it (or the year?) and I understood the hype much better...I'm just not feeling it. The originals came out when I was a wee tot, and my parents didn't care about space movies or sci-fi.

I don't know why they were/are so popular. They're maybe fun for little kids, but anyone older will be disappointed by the simple story lines and the lack of intelligence in the portrayal of another place/another time.
