Oasis' "Lyla" is "Sally's sister".
While the identify of the ‘Lyla’ in the song is as yet unclear, the official release statement claims; “‘Lyla’ is ‘Sally’s sister…” possible drawing refereence to the Sally mentioned in the Oasis single ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’.

The release of the next album, Don't Believe The Truth, could get very interesting if Noel Gallagher keeps tossing out these mysteries to us.

2. "Lyla" is what Noel Gallagher named his monobrow.

3. It's called a unibrow, and Noel Gallagher does not have one.

5. There is no picture of Noel Gallagher in your post.
That's like saying "here, the resemblance is stunning" about John Lennon and posting a picture of Godzilla or something but not posting a picture of John Lennon next to it.

10. Anyone can make an unsubtantiated comparison.
I could say the Beatles are to music what Stalin was to politics, but it wouldn't mean anything.

9. Didn't they teach you in Beatlist propaganda school?
You should never use more than one wisecrack per Oasis thread, but you should conserve them, because they are few and far between.

8. The album title sure as hell is mysterious
Don't Believe The Truth. I don't know what to make of that, but I am no great musician. "Definitely Maybe" was also a mysterious title and possibly the best album of all time, so I am geeked for the next one.
