Making your pets happy is SOOOOOOO pleasurable!
Edited on Wed Mar-09-05 08:00 PM by Padraig18
We just had T-bone steaks cooked on the grill, and of course there are leftovers. The dogs got the bones, the cat got some fat and little bit of meat, and the ferret got plain meat. Everyone is now tail-wagging/purring happy!

:D

2. When my kitties are happy
they get all squinty and purry and I get so blissed out. God I love those little fur children. (And I love making my non-furry human children happy as well, but unfortunately they don't purr ... a defect of the human race if you ask me.)

3. The ferret nearly took a finger off!
Talk about a critter who likes his meat! Sheesh!

5. I got bit by a ferret
when I worked at the zoo. For some reason someone left a ferret, must have decided he was not a good pet. :eyes: I was picking him up and he grabbed my arm. It took him 15 minutes to let go and it bled like a son of a gun when he did. They can be quite nice so it made me wonder what the poor thing had put up with that made him such a bad pet that he would get dumped at the zoo. Anyway, watch your fingers Tony!

6. I'm sorry.
Ours is normally very sweet, but Rule #1 (which I tend to forget) is don't get between him and meat (or fish).

8. Sorry?
I was the idiot that thought he was too cute to be abandoned. I was just lucky he bit me before I got him to my face to nuzzle him! Ferrets are great just watch those fingers. BTW, love your new pic in the picture thread.

7. That's great!
I didn't realize you guys had so many pets Paddy. Do you guys live in a rural area downstate? Do you let your pets just roam?

10. We also have a pet mouse, and we may adopt another kitty soon.
We have a fenced-in back yard for the dogs, and we live right on the edge of town; our kitty is leash-trained, so he gets to go out some times.

:)
