Starbucks is good

I like it. But for only one drink.

When it's four in the afternoon and I'm draggin, I can get a quad (four-shot) espresso for only $2.30. If I ask, they'll put it in a 16 oz (Grande) cup. I then go to the little self-serve counter and fill it with half-and-half, and then zap it in the microwave for a minute or so to heat it back up.

Wakes me right up and a fantastic deal.

I'm having one right now. Cheers.

Were your hands shaking as you typed out your message?
I guess you can build up a tolerance to caffeine but I've never been able to tolerate 4 shots of espresso in a day, never mind all of it after 4 PM.

Same with booze now, unfortunately. A five oz shot of straight 80 proof rum now just gives me a mild buzz. I recommend Cruzan Dark, only $10 a bottle.

5. Starfucks is crap

They're the Wal-Mart of the coffee business, building as many locations as possible with an emphasis on driving the locally based competition out of business. Hell, in some places they're on both sides of the same street!

Starbucks treats its workers well. It also develops relationships with its coffee growers and pays them much better than others.

12. Oh I figured as much, and the word is DAMN they are good.

It is something youhave INSTEAD of dessert ..and then skip dessert for a couple of days before and after.

I have actually only succumbed twice.
