Tomorrow is Canadian Thanksgiving (2nd Monday in October)
My husband and I and our unmarried son will be going to my married daughter's for turkey....It's my darling granddaughter's birthday too....We've had beautiful weather this last week....hope it holds for tomorrow too, but there might be rain....I'm feeling a little nostalgic tonight, thinking about all the Thanksgiving dinners I've cooked through the years....Your family grows up soooo fast...They're grown and out of the house before you know it....Oh well...that's life....Wishing all the other Canadian DUers a happy Thanksgiving and I'll wish my American friends a happy Columbus Day! :toast:
I thankfully won't be eating a thanksgiving dinner with my family. Nothing against them, I just hate huge dinners, I am one of those people who can't eat in large groups.
I'll have some wine, my hubby will have the beer....We will think of our American friends when we say the Thanksgiving blessing at the dinner table....Everything will work out for you....I feel sure of that! :)
