This woman was on some email list that I somehow became a part of. I sent her some info on Peak Oil after debunking the gas boycott email that goes around. This is the response I got.

13. when I hear people talk like that, it reminds me of a very close relative.

when she is in the middle of a severe manic episode, and in psychosis. sounds funny, but I am totally serious. The little bits are stated as if they are fact, and that everyone would understand them, when really it sounds like nonsense. I could post letters from 10-20 years ago that would fit right in with this. It's really sad, I think these might be undiagnosed mentally ill people who need therapy and medication. It breaks my heart when I hear my relative talking like this, it pains me to read it now.
