I had a bizzaro world moment tonight

I was at my parents' house for dinner. When I was sitting in the living room, I called the dog, and it looked at me distainfully. I called the cat, and it came running over.

I think they're confused.

2. I remember one time....

...we had a dog that was sniffing the neighbors' kids and I picked her up because the neighbors were getting nervous and I got her away from the kids. Keep her out of trouble. I held onto her, she tried to get loose and I wouldn't let her. Then she, who was a puppy for my attention (no pun intended) would look at me and then look away in disdain and walk on by. That lasted 10, maybe 15 minutes and she was back to her old ways with me. :)
