9. You know I was raised by Baptists.
If I had done anything that would get this thread locked, I'd be drenched in guilt and remorse.

I spent the day with my Dad. We started early working on a house for my guineas, then we took a break and I fixed gumbo for lunch. After lunch, we went back out to work some more, but rain moved in, so we put a couple of lawn chairs inside the guinea house--under the tin roof--and just sat there and chitchatted for a couple of hours until the rain stopped, and then we went back to work.

The guinea house is in the woods, about 100' from my house, so, if you can imagine how nice it was to sit under the tin roof, with no sound but the rain on the tin and our voices as we laughed and talked.

Just a wonderful day...one of those that I will always remember. :-)

11. Evocative!
That's a very southern image... rain on a hot tin roof ;-) (sorry, but I had to sneak in a Tennessee Williams reference).

I went to Baptist Sunday School, and I have never felt particularly guilty about anything. Hmmm.. that could just be me though.

Glad you treasured your day with your Dad!

until the morning after. :-) And then the old Baptist guilt kicks in, and I can't live with my slutty self. :7

8. I think the first day of Smirk's trial for war crimes will be pretty good.
Hopefully some US TV station will run it.
