I just learned this fascinating factoid from the squawk box droning in the background - a commercial break from the soap opera my wife is watching. If the accompanying little ditty gets earwormed, I won't be responsible for my actions!

I didn't go to work today...first sick day in a couple of years. When I get a cold, it usually follows a predictable path from my sinuses to my throat to my bronchial tubes, but this one went straight for my chest. Managed to get some rest today, dozing occasionally with documentaries on The Sundance Channel. Went to sleep during one about four siblings returning their Indian father's ashes to India for ritual dispersal in the Ganges. Dreamed of blue people and beautifully-decorated elephants.

When my wife got home, the soaps came on. I don't begrudge her watching them, but I want no part of those insipid stories. Began surfing the net, then had to share this profundity with everyone:
