Question about driver's licenses

Question about driver's licenses
My license is set to expire on the 31st and my spring break is the 12th-20th. Unfortunately my 21st birthday isn't until the 22nd, and the only time after that day I can get it re-newed is the day after Easter but I will miss a class and a meeting. My question is, would the DMV give me a "front facing" license before my 21st? In NJ everyone under 21 has a side facing picture, but if I was to go on the 18th would they be able to give me the front facing picture or will I get another side facing one? It's only a couple of days before my birthday and the date of birth will be on it. Anyone have any info about this?

NJ has relaxed some of it's heretofore ironclad rules!
"Special Circumstances" may carry the day!

Maybe I'll give the ol DMV a call and see what they say. I've heard they've really improved and streamlined the whole system. I just have to make sure I have all "6 points" worth of documents necessary for renewal
