Okay, let's look at the milk discussion again! And a bumper sticker!

I went grocery shopping the other day and lo and behold, a gallon of chemical/hormone-free moo juice was $3.79. On the plus side, the hormone-rich milk was just $3.59. 20 cents more for something more natural? You bet! But I digress, it was cheaper even one month ago!

Of course, if more of the price went back to farmers I wouldn't complain. But they being corporate america, as usual, has gone and done it again: Exploit the working class for their own greed. x( Soviet Russia may have had its faults, but the new Fascist USA is getting thrice as deplorable by the minute!

(And even though the ground up soy crumbles costs twice as much as ground turkey, it's still a lot healthier and has no fat. I'd rather pay the $$$ for once.)

In Minnesota, I've noticed TONS of cars having "I (heart) my Cub" bumper stickers. What I should do is get two of these stickers, cut up the letters, and place them on the front and back of my car to read "my Cub (heart) I". I know corporate america wants us to think it's a supply side nation, but that only fosters their fascism. Without consumers they are nothing and we need to remind them of that.

1. Do you ever use coupons?

I am a big couponer and have been buying a quart of 8th Continent Soy Milk for $.89 (any flavor and my kids love chocolate). It is $1.89 and then I have $1/1 coupons. And then a coupon has been printing up for a free quart of the competitor's milk! That is two quarts for $.45 each, not a bad deal. These have a long expiration date until you open them and then you need to use it in 7 days. Just a thought.

2. Coupons are bogus

Most of the food I buy never qualify FOR coupons.

I stock up during sales though.

Coupons are bull. Just give me a proper price to begin with and let the corporations use the paper as toilet tissue rather than coupons.

What's the calcium content of soy milk?

If the price is 50% less than regular milk, I'll switch in an attosecond!

30% of RDI. It is the same as the whole milk I have in the fridge!

To each his own on coupons. It allows be to be a stay at home Mom and look after my kids. I spent under $500 last year for a family of four! And the cashiers just can't stand it when I walk out with eight bags of groceries and only pay $.32.

Hope you find some cheap milk. I hear some Targets have good prices. May want to check there. Good luck.
