I'm gonna have to. When we made the move to DI, the goddamn mafioso at the NCAA told my school we aren't elligible for March Madness until March 2009. And nowadays I go onto ESPN.com and look at all the mid-major bubble teams on the list, and I get SOOO jealous. I start thinking that that could be MY school!!! I mean, we used to play Northern Iowa ALL THE FRICKIN' TIME in all sports back in the 70's and 80's (they were in our CONFERENCE!!!), but they moved to DI while we wound up stuck wallowing in DII. I really wish we could've moved up to DI back in the early-90's instead of wallowing through this transition now. And we also would've found a conference by now.

2003 was our "exploratory year", where we played a DII schedule, and this year we're wrapping up our first "official" DI year, even though we only played about 10 FRICKING GAMES against DI teams. Couldn't they have at LEAST given us a full DI schedule???

God, I'm SOOOOOO envious of all the other DI schools who can qualify for March Madness. ESPECIALLY all the mid-majors who used to be in DII along with us.

Can't the NCAA just make an exception and let us slide and be elligible, instead of making us WAIT for the next four years???!!!

For some reason, you won't find our team in any standings this year. You won't find us listed under DI Independents, or under DII teams.

I remember the days of the NDSU-UNO football rivalry where Lamar Gordon would make the Mavs look foolish by running up and down the field for tons of yards.

And now that NDSU is gone, of course UNO finally has a good basketball team (back-to-back regular season NCC crowns).
