Conservatives should be thrown in prison
Edited on Sun Mar-06-05 03:51 PM by HEyHEY
These are people who think if someone doesn't agree with them they should be thrown in prison or worse. These are people that don't truly represent the idea of a free society as their beliefs often impede the freedom of others.
Truly unamerican and dangerous to the ideals and security of the country. Lock em up.

At least a liberal will respect your right to disagree and voice that opposition without telling you to "SHUT UP!" or calling you a traitor. - So sayeth the HEyHEY

The first one to point out irony in this post gets the "I don't get it award."

1. This is IRONY! Cause, like, we're saying that they're intolerant
but you're being a nazi lefty! :P

Just kidding. You're right about the difference between wingnuts and liberals--we'll give the opposition the chance to voice its opinion without calling them traitors or un-American, which is more than can be said for them.

2. That's what I get so mad at
why is it so hard for them to just respect opinions?

3. I wouldn't say conservatives, but the NEO cons, yes.
I can't say someone who truly esposes conservatism is bad, but those who rape it into their version of conservatism are.

Sort of like what they are doing with Christianity.

4. yea, that's what i was thinking.
fiscal conservatives: we could use more of their kind. they would at least want to be saving money, not this neocon "spend spend spend" dreck.

now if you said "republicans" i'd be a bit more inclined to agree with you. to say conservative pushes a lot of people away that might be a good thing to have in a democratic country (a different opinion on fiscal issues, etc)

5. There should always be two sides to a coin
The neo cons seem to try to ad a third side.

Yeah, that's it. That's the ticket!

:)
