The Tangled Web of All CAPTIONS!!! (Secret Tenet thoughts!)

Tenet is thinking: "Geez. How am I ever going to tell them the truth? After striking
that sentence from the speech three times and sending it up to the Pentagon's Office
of Special Planning, . . . well, each time I'd get it next mail with the sentence
written back in with a black marker. After I sent it back a third time, . . . geez, I hate
to remember, I didn't get it right back and the next night three State-side operatives,
each one exactly my age, died in their sleep with no sign of dwelling entry or sign
on the body of foul play except the grimace of horror on each face. Boy, they're good!
So when I got the speech back the 4th time, the following day, with the sentence written
in all bold and circled with a red marker . . . well, I just couldn't seem to pick up the
blue pencil to strike it out again. I was sweating and tunnels were barking in my head.
Hell, the sentence even started looking good where it was. But if I told the Committee. . .
Geez. . . . Who'd believe me?"

Tenet is thinking: "What the f*ck. The rhinestoned cowboy lies and I wind up before congress explaining why I couldn't save him from himself. I'm too old for this sh*t."

4. Now as the day gives silent way to night,
And DU'ers by the score douse screen and lights
And gat them home to their repast, spirits bright,
Then come forth their colleagues of the night
With minds aflame to set the CAPTION right!

5. Tenet is thinking: which book offer should he go for ...
... how much money will they all make from this ... which hand feeds and which ones don't ... who would he like to play him in "All the President's Men, another sequel" ... and, he thinks: gee ... I hope nobody brings up why I didn't approve declassification of documents which might implicate Henry Kissinger or others involved with human rights abuses, terrorism, and other acts of political violence in Chile from 1968 to 1990 ... OMG, I gotta stop thinking like this ...
