2. i havent eaten red meat in over 20 years but.....
corned beef and cabbage and potatos. all boiled together in a big pot. i think my mother used to use a pressure cooker.

drool........ahh the memory of it.....

my father always had a story about when he came back from the war, phillipines and got corned beef and cabbage in chicago.

and he would bust out the uke and sing a little down at dinty moores with the sawdust on the floors....

7. Personally, I prefer Round to Brisket
more tender and less fat. Just falls apart under my fork. MMmmmmm

10. Ooh, that's so good.
I'm saving that for St. Patrick's Day, though.

Put some beef broth and onion and a little wee bit of bacon in with the corned beef brisket.

I can't wait!
