My son was called an undercover black brother, what does this mean
My son is white, and he told me the kids on the bus call him their undercover black brother. I asked my son and he said it's nothing bad, but I've never heard of it. Have any of you?

18. I dunno.. I don't feel like they quite equate.. somehow whigger seems to
be more about usurping the culture. The other one, to me, always meant that the person in question probably had respect for people and their civil liberties and spoke out for blacks.

14. no not really,
i agree wit this definition:

whigger

A disparaging term used to describe a Caucasian person that mimics ghetto and urban vernacular. More commonly used to describe those Caucasians whose only contact with popular urban culture is the entertainment media. A poseur.

2. My guess is that it sounds like has their approval. Like he's an honorary
member of their group.

Or maybe they are saying he's a white guy with a black soul.. like Elvis?

At any rate, it sounds fine to me. :)

13. I guess, I'm doing a good job then. No racial hatred in my house, and
I went out of my way too make sure my children don't experience the stuff I did growing up.

17. They probably got the idea from the movie Undercover Brother
Edited on Fri Mar-04-05 10:31 AM by rocknation
It was a comedy, with Eddie Griffin playing a black Austin Powers type. It's definitely a compliment--they like him and feel he's not a bigot.
