Woman Drives 10 Miles Down Interstate With Her Cat On Roof Of Car
<snip>

INKOM, Idaho -- Torri Hutchinson's cat might just have one less life to live.

Hutchison was driving along Interstate 15 one day recently when a motorist kept trying to get her attention and pointing to the roof of her car.

She said she was wary of the man, but wondered if perhaps her ski rack might have come loose.

She pulled over to the side, but kept her doors locked and the motor running.

The man pulled up behind her. Hutchinson rolled down her window to hear the man frantically shouting, "Your cat! Your cat!"

He reached for the roof of her car and handed the shocked Hutchinson her orange tabby.

She had driven about 10 miles with the cat on top of the car, and didn't even notice the feline when she stopped for gas.

1. Wow! I ASSUME that the cat had its claws... and the car roof was cloth.
Otherwise... I don't see how it's possible... :wow:

4. Oh yeah... I forgot about the ski rack... poor thing...
considering the way my cat jumps 10 feet in the air at the slightest provocation... that must have been one HELL of a trauma for it.

3. While I was browsing that site... I saw this frightening Mr. Potato Head:

"NEW YORK -- Hasbro, Inc.'s Playskool division is launching a new Mr. Potato Head figure, Darth Tater. Available at stores nationwide in February, kids will be able to have all kinds of mix 'n match Mr. Potato Head fun with this wacky spud dressed as the infamous Star Wars saga villain, Darth Vader. 6. That's one cat
who won't be jumping up on the car again anytime soon.

That's one woman who better get the cans of tuna and catnip ready, or she might find a little "surprise" outside the box.

11. That almost happen too a stray I feed all the time.
This stray that has made my screened Lanai his home, was sleeping on the back end of my car. Well I started driving down the street and when I looked in the rear view mirror I saw him hanging on for dear life. He's little claws were hanging onto the edge of the trunk. When I stopped he just clung there, poor thing was to scared to move. got him in the car and brought him back, he never sleeps on my car anymore.

12. I once drove to work with a cat in the engine of my car
when I got out of the car I heard her meowing, wondered where it was coming from--opened the hood and there she was over by the side. She was fine except a little shaken up. I don't know whose cat it was, I think she was a stray and she ended up living with me until she died a few years later (natural causes).

16. OO! That cat is lucky, our neighbor had the same thing happen but
the cat got caught in the serpentine belt (although the result would have been the same if it had been any of the many belts that run around the engine). What was washed out of the engine at the mechanic looked like hamburger.

17. Miz t. did that with her purse.
A few years ago.
Got to the grocery store and...no purse.
"Now where did I...? I know I left the house with it. I put it on top of the car while I...OH SHIT!"

She retraced her route. No purse.
I was just about to start calling credit card companies when the phone rang. A (VERY NICE!) guy saw it by the side of the road and picked it up.
