My pop (lives here too) just picked up an old road king before winter hit, so he's been chomping at the bit to get out on that thing. We can tough out the 45 degrees, but the gravel is pretty unforgiving around corners.... KJ

I haven't had this much fun in years :bounce: One of my house-mates has an Anniversary Edition Harley Sportster that she wants to sell because she has V-Rod Fever in a big way.

14. I do LOVE my trike and I'm going to be loving it for many years.
I'm not going back on 2 wheels again. Due to an injury 10 years ago{not bike related}, I don't have the strength to hold a bike upright at a standing stop and as much as I hate to do it ... I gotta stop some time.

18. It was slightly above freezing on my last ride.
I'm jealous ... 65 degrees ... I seem to remember what that feels like. Where are you? Even with layers of thermals and a full set of leathers... when there's snow on the lawns ... it's a cold ride.

The weather is perfect for riding in Florida right now. But, it ain't safe with all the old farts from up north down here now. I haven't been on mine for over a month because of them.

They are all rolling into daytona now for bike month (bike week is a misnomer-they show up early and stay late) the rumble/roar at certain times is outrageous from 7 pm -1 am. Nasty weather now though for the campers and riders both

21. its cold (50's) and rainy
thru tomorrow night. Mid 70's during the day and 50's at night over the weekend. the rule of thumb is the next 2 weeks will be like this. March is iffy, always. i tell my biker friends to hit biketoberfest, much better weather

He has one. Sure, sign me up. I wish this group would have existed when I tried to find out how to get the seat off to put in the oil. :-)

26. Well, first of all, you have to have ten people with stars agree to...
be members of the group. then you have to develop a "mission statement" that states the purpose of the group. Then you go to AtA and post a thread with a link to the thread in which the group is proposed. Then skinner gives it a thumbs up or down, and opens the group for you.
