Great moments in sign painting: G. Asscock
There's a local trash-hauling firm called Glasscock. They have a dumpster at a former bank branch presumably being gutted to be turned into a Starbuck's or something. Now, the state symbol of South Carolina is the palmetto tree. Glasscock, to demonstrate their local commitment, or just because they aren't very bright, replaced the l in their company name in the HUGE logo on the dumpster with a palmetto tree, resulting in a logo that reads G. ASSCOCK. Anyway, somebody has finally outstupided the Gamecocks in terms of unfortunate choice or words. Orrrr, maybe they're trying to tell us something.

Pictures will be provided with the very least encouragement.

Mods/Admins: If this somehow qualifies as a sex thread, I won't mind if it's removed or locked.

1. Well,
with a name like Glasscock, you're pretty much screwed no matter what.

I have a friend who graduated from Middlebury that likes to wear a SC baseball cap that's embroidered with a huge COCKS and, in smaller lettering underneath, 'University of South Carolina.'

2. Reminds me of when I saw Bob Mould on MTV in '90
in the video for It's Too Late wearing a Cocks t-shirt. Now I knew he'd been in Husker Du, that they were largely a college radio band, and that therefore his travels had probably brought him through here more than once. Still, I had a shrewd notion that that might not be the reason he was wearing the t-shirt. Regardless, I wound up buying that and eventually four more Mould/Sugar albums due to being up at 4 am watching MTV that night.
