Right now I think, their email server is down so I keep checking and hopefully I can check my mails soon again.
My bf and I communicate mostly on the phone but email also. He sends me stuff for me to read.

I met a lot of people online also, including my bf. Sometimes I am trying to imagine how it was without computer because so much things are getting done via PC, it is hard to remember. I can't imagine living without PC anymore. Just ordered me a new one today.

38. "Great"
I got my first computer 3 years ago and I'm not exaggerating when I say "I Knew Absolutely Nothing About Computers!" I'm learning as I go.

I met "The Ex-boyfriend" on-line, we might never have met without computers.

Yep, computers rate up there right along-side in-door-pluming on my list of necessary things.

41. I am used to PCs since a kid
PC came to market when I was about 12. I remember my parents having a Scheider (German PC company) in East Germany. Which was really very rare. Since then I am used to computers. I even work with them every day.

I would pay them half of what I make but they will watch my daughter at night, instead of her going to a babysitter.

18. My parents and I don't get along very well
but they adore my daughter (only grandchild-until my brother marries in Oct. and then they will have 2 stepgrandchildren). My daughter always talks about "Grandma" and says that "Poppa" (my dad) is her best friend.
They are the ones who keep bringing up the idea. They are starting to realize how hard the market is out there.
I also have an aunt who is talking about loaning me the money to take my daughter's father to court and permanently revoke all of his rights toward her. I am really thinking of taking up that offer, but I would need to move home to pay her the money back (the attorney says to expect it to be between 5,000-10,000 dollars US).

a lot of money for the attorney. But if your aunt is willing to loan the money, it is worth a try to finally get your ex paying for his daughter.

23. Actually, I don't want him
to pay for her (not anymore). His new(er) wife called about a year ago and asked me how much life insurance I had, since they were counting on me dying and them taking my child and getting the life insurance. They didn't want the insurance for my baby-they wanted money to spend (and they know that I will take out every two bit policy that I can afford. I am currently at around $1 million US-if I die).
I set up a will a year ago and have her guardianship down the line to a total of 22 people (family, friends-all have agreed to take her if something happened to me and then each on the list agreed to it if something happened to her next guardian, etc). If I died, even with a will in place, he could still sue for custody-and might have a chance of winning(since he's her biological father). The money he would receive would never benefit her and I can't let that happen. Besides, his wife now lost custody of her own child due to neglect. I will never let her have contact with my child.
If I legally revoke his rights, he could never sue for custody at a later date (in the case of my demise-stinks to think about it, but it happens when you least expect it to. And I want my daughter to be prepared).

but he is also afraid to go too far because of where I work. He knows that they would respond even faster than norma-gotta protect one of their own. And I think, in this case, there would be no qualms of using "police brutality". He also knows that I know the head and the associate prosecutors and that I know the area judges-nothing in his favor, since he lives about an hour and a half away.

37. I can decide myself how long I want to work
I work in a library, so we do have our opening times. But it is my choice when I come (so it shouldn't be later than 9am) and go. I am not getting paid for the overtime but I can use it when I have an docs appointment or other things have to be done in my apt for example. Or if I have enough overtime I can take a day off without taking vacation time
