5. Half & Half is a registered daily product process
Years ago there was a brand "Half & Half". A I recall the National Dairy Council, or some such corporate front, bought the trade mark and began to market a newly developed "product" under that name.
Have you ever wondered where the expired dated dairy products go?
They are sent back to the milk refineries where a minimum amount of dairy fat is added and then irradiated to kill existing bacteria. They are then sent back out on the market with the new label, Half & Half.
Ever wonder why the expiration of H&H is rarely more than a week? Check out the expiration of real cream as a comparison. You will be shocked.

I just recall this from an article in a health journal back in the 80's or so when it took place.

17. It's a bj followed by coitus, according to a book I read once
"Masquerade", a true crime story about a prostitute, her pimp and the shrink they killed and dismembered.

I guess the price depends on how much the working girl needs a fix.

12. Why, thank you, phaseolus!
Wow. I work in D.C., yet even I didn't imagine that half & half would be defined by federal law. Go figure.

Thanks!

18. Here is the reason I asked.
This morning I asked the cashier at the cafeteria downstairs to sell me a cup of half & half. (Having some half & half on hand upstairs and using it in the coffee the firm provides is a lot cheaper than buying coffee downstairs every morning.) She said, "just take a cup, it's okay."

I'm filling the cup from the decanter and I notice it looks awfully thin. So I pour a little from the skim milk decanter, thinking they've just been switched, but that looks even thinner. I go to the cashier and tell her that both decanters seem to contain skim milk.

She told me, "oh, no, we were out of half & half so we had to make some out of regular milk and skim milk."

19. I Think I've Met Her Before...
... she's the same gal that used to work at Burger King.

When I ordered a Whopper with no onions, she replied "I'm sorry sir, we're all out of onions, you'll have to have your Whopper without something else."
