Poll question: Do you want to see Limbaugh go to Jail?
I do because it would be poetic justice. Here's a man that wants to see every drug offender in Jail and their lives ruined as having a felony record. I remember once when I was spying on the Pigman and he was talking about Liberal v.s. Conservitve drug policies. He said something to the affect that Republicans want to keep your kids from doing drugs but Democrats want to give them the needle to do it with. You see the difference Pigman and a junkie is the junkie wants your kid to shoot up heroin as Pigman wants them to take it in the pill form. What is your Pigman anti-drug rant that pissed you off and think he should be reminded of.

28. And if the law won't, then the citizens must!
Novak should be an open and shut case, but we all know the system (geared toward both the wealthy and the famous, ironically the two types of people most of us would't want to see rule after the apocalypse as both these types are not for a co-operative society but are for their own selves instead...)

The system will let Novak go regardless.

We then need to stand up.

All we need is a leader...

2. Duh...
...how long has he been advocating stonger punishments for first-time offenders?

Throw the book at him, then put him in a cell with a 400lb repeat violent offender who insists on calling him "Jenny".

7. Maybe he'll change his anti-gay views as well in the joint
He'll come to terms with his obsession with Clinton's penis while being with his new cellmate. Then he'll completly turn a new leaf.

9. Rush Reaps What He Sows.
People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. I guess with his 24 mil spread in Florida, he can have guards out there so his glass house will be protected. It's amazing to me that the dittoheads would worship a guy and give him that kind of economic base. It gives dittoheads a whole new meaning. We're talking dumber than dumb.

3. hell yes jail
not because he's a 'drug addict' but because he was involved in an illegal criminal enterprise, that surely somewhere along the line had to steal these drugs, or make them otherwise unavailable to people who need them

he wasn't merely smoking a joint that his maid grew in her closet

:hi:

and yes, hypocrisy plays a role too. If he wants everyone else to do the time, it's only fair

4. I must add
that the same day Rush Limbuagh checks himself into Rehab for 30 days after admitting he's a drug addict on air, Tommy Chong checks himself into the Federal Penal System for selling tobacco filtration systems.

18. Not sure if I can describe it.
It's a term used to describe handcuffing someone behind their back and they are hunched over foreward somewhat as they are marched from the building to the car. It's a term used by law enforcement.

With nothing but unrestrained black, gay, minority and underprivileged men surrounding him. Then I'll become a listener.

24. Cellmate to Tommy Chong
That's what one caller on the Guy James Show just said. Too funny. Sox and Cubs in the series, Rush and Tommy Chong sharing a cell. Damn, I'd think I'd died on gone to heaven.

26. Normally, I don't like to see drug abusers go to jail,
especially if they are amenable to rehab, because jail does nothing to help the addict get well and it's a stress on the legal system.

But in the case of El Rushbo, he has said many, many times that he thinks drug abusers should get stiff jail terms...so therefore he should be made to abide by his own convictions! Fair is fair!

27. Tough call....
...personally, I don't believe ANYONE should go to prison for drug addiction - it should be treated as a health problem, which it is.

But prison IS the solution that Mush himself prescribed for all other drug offenders, so by his own words, he shouldn't be above that sentence either.

30. Unless your selling crack to school kids...
I hate to see any of these people go to prison. This deal with Tommy Chong is utter bullshit. I'm sick of the way the system works,we all know that Fatboy will never ever see a jail cell yet Chong is looking at 9 months.

Make the system equal--ya know Blind Justice or let everyone out thats in on drug charges.

31. No
I don't care what Limbaugh said or who he is, I want the law to be passed on to everyone the same way. I hope he gets treatment, I would hope ANYONE gets treatment over jail time.
