Thanks DU Scrabble-Heads!!
Under very controlled circumstances, I managed to get a play in on Scrabble that netted 698 points with one word.

The word was "accountantships" and good for a triple/triple/triple or 27 times word score. I was able to break down so "count" and "hip" were already in the correct places, and then got the right seven letters in the rack, and filled it in. good for 648 points plus 50-point BINGO bonus.

Man, I would LOVE to pull that one on someone in real life sometime!!
