One of our longtime DUers past away recently (khephra), and it was his avatar. It's in remembrance.

6. Khephra memorial.

A long-time DUer who died recently, and was an egyption history enthusiast. The egyptian eye was his avatar, too.

8. Yes, it was the icon for one of the early DU'ers

Khephra, who passed away unexpectedly in January.

He was here pretty much from the beginning and built LBN into what it is now. I was fortunate enough to live within just a few miles of him and we became fast friends, and eventually spearheaded the Dean volunteer movement in Central Indiana.

He was gracious, intelligent, funny and VERY diplomatic, and will be sorely missed.

His mom just started posting here over the weekend, under the screen name 'Momma Kef'.
