18. I have to admit,
even if she wasn't a whiny, no-talent Republican, Patricia Heaton is a real turn-off for me as a spokesperson. I don't even like the character she plays on television, I sure wouldn't take shopping advice from her.

6. Hmm...
1. How many pairs of shoes do you think you have owned in your lifetime? How many do you own now?
Now, about 15. In my lifetime? No idea. I've never had more than 15 or 20 pairs of shoes at once (with maybe 5 in the "active" pile, another 5 in the "goes with one specific outfit" pile, and the rest in the "why do I own these?" pile), and I tend to keep mine forever.

2. Do you like to drive?
Not really. I don't mind it, but it's not something I do for fun.

3. Which would you like better: winning a first-place trophy or getting a hug from someone attractive?
I'd rather win a first-place trophy than get a hug from an attractive stranger; I'd rather get a hug from a loved one than win a first-place trophy (most of the time, anyway).

4. What is your favorite season?
Spring.

5. What are three negative words that describe you?
Snobby (in some respects, anyway), klutzy, abrasive.

6. What are three positive words that describe you?
Patient (most of the time), intelligent, stable.

7. What's your favorite grocery store?
Sendik's in Brookfield.

8. If you could take an all-expenses-paid vacation for a week to anywhere on Earth, where would you go?
Japan.

9. How much snow is just the right amount?
If I don't have to shovel it, clear it from my car, or drive in it? 4-6". If I have to do any of those? A lot less.

10. If you could appear to be of a different ethnicity for a day, what would you choose?
No idea.

62. Well, others do seem to think that way...
I'm damn proud I'm as old as I am now, at age 20 I'd have never figured I'd have lived past 30. (I can remember when I was 28, one of the ladies who worked for me actually cried when she turned 30 and I couldn't understand why lol)

I'd say my procrastinating is my worst trait. I oughta be in the living room and dining room sanding the floor for refinishing, but DU is a *lot* more fun than that.

1. How many pairs of shoes do you think you have owned in your lifetime? How many do you own now?

Well over 100 owned in previous lives; now own about five pairs and three pairs of boots (total excludes my steel capped site shoes - they smell and I only put them on if the contractor insists - he regrets it immediately if I put them on)

3. Which would you like better: winning a first-place trophy or getting a hug from someone attractive?

Latter. Nice people always come last.

Abrasive, abrupt and loads of others.

6. What are three positive words that describe you?

Self concept time. Dedicated, altruistic and helpful.

7. What's your favorite grocery store?

Corner shops.

8. If you could take an all-expenses-paid vacation for a week to anywhere on Earth, where would you go?

The Amazon.

9. How much snow is just the right amount?

Enough to ski over to the next glen.

10. If you could appear to be of a different ethnicity for a day, what would you choose?

Bush Man or any hunter gatherer...I'd love to get into their mindset.

14. I'll Play!
1. How many pairs of shoes do you think you have owned in your lifetime? How many do you own now?
I'd guess i have about 20 pairs now, but i'm a shoe guy, so i've probably have a few hundred in my lifetime.

2. Do you like to drive?
Yes, i find it soothing and decompressing to get on an uncrowded country road and drive slowly and relaxedly.

3. Which would you like better: winning a first-place trophy or getting a hug from someone attractive?
Winning. My wife will hug me anyway, and that's enough for me.

4. What is your favorite season?
Summer. No contest. I like tot drive with the top down, take my doggie rollerblading, play golf, and eat out on the deck. The hot weather is little harder on my MS, but i still like it best.

5. What are three negative words that describe you?
Pompous, arrogant, detached.

6. What are three positive words that describe you?
Smart, loyal, interested

7. What's your favorite grocery store?
Jewell-Osco

8. If you could take an all-expenses-paid vacation for a week to anywhere on Earth, where would you go?
Sydney, Australia. I've been all around the world, but never to Australia. Would like to go.

9. How much snow is just the right amount?
None. It can rain for the moisture. I don't like snow. I don't have to shovel rain. (Well, i don't shovel anyway, i use a snowblower.)

10. If you could appear to be of a different ethnicity for a day, what would you choose?
Wow, this is a tough one. I guess i'd like to be from Trinidad for a day. I love that patois. I have a colleague from the East Coast who is from there, and i could sit and talk with him all day.

Did i do ok?

16. Answers.
1. How many pairs of shoes do you think you have owned in your lifetime? How many do you own now?
Lifetime- well over a hundred. Now? Probably around 30. I wear the same size as my daughter too and sometimes we share shoes, so add another 15 I suppose. I don't get rid of shoes unless I haven't worn them for 10 years it seems.

2. Do you like to drive?
Yes, it's often a good time to clear my head.

3. Which would you like better: winning a first-place trophy or getting a hug from someone attractive?
Depends. If it were someone I loved, the hug. If not, well, getting a hug by an attractive person in of itself isn't too hard to come by and if the first place trophy was something I worked really, really hard for, I'd go with that.

4. What is your favorite season?
Spring

5. What are three negative words that describe you?
impatient
moody
sarcastic

6. What are three positive words that describe you?
Honest
Nurturing
Open-minded

7. What's your favorite grocery store?

Highland Park Market

8. If you could take an all-expenses-paid vacation for a week to anywhere on Earth, where would you go?
Money isn't even a huge object for me at the moment. I indicated wanted to go to Las Vegas last month, but that was met with silence despite many things indicating I was far more than welcome for several months prior. Odd, but perhaps it's just all too much for the potential visitee at the moment. We'll see. In the meantime, I have a life to live.

Hmmmm.... all expenses though? I'd have to say just to take a year off of life and go all over the world.

9. How much snow is just the right amount?
none

10. If you could appear to be of a different ethnicity for a day, what would you choose?
Latin, Cuban probably. Every Cuban woman I've met was both nice and beautiful.
