This just sums it all up (Freeper quote)
"It does great because because it reflects HOLLYWOOD VALUES.

I agree 100 percent.

It's always about them, not us."

Gee, the Oscars celebrate the acheivements of OTHER PEOPLE. Boy, what a bunch of bullshit, eh? :eyes:

1. If they want us to stop making fun of NASCAR...
then they had better start respecting our Blue State traditions too.

2. Yep, that sums up all Freepers
the world revolves around them and their fragile egos; you can't say anything bad about * because they voted for him, but bash Clinton all you want, they love "freedom", as long as they're allowed to dump toxins in your backyard and run their ATVs through parks that others are taking a quite nature hike in. They support the troops, as long as none of them are Democrats...it's all "me, me, me" in Freeperland!

3. Hollywood is made up almost entirely of Americans
from all over the country. I think the Freepers are deluded enough to believe that all actors, writers and directors are all born in Hollywood and live there until they die.

Oscar recipients are corporate icons, successful models of supply and demand. How did these actors and writers become so popular or wealthy..socialism?

I suppose the producers were all unionized socialists.

6. Freepers are "MINDLESSS" MORONS!
Total bores. I refuse to even respond to their idiotic ranting.

"Argue long enough with those empty-headed, dim-witted, selfish, self-centered, predjudical, coveting assholes, and before long no one will be able to tell us apart." Besides, they hang themselves so much better then we ever could. Just look at their comments.

Yet, it was OK for their COMMANDER & THIEF to spend millions upon millions (that we know of) on his Gig!"

7. Your comment is very insightful...just one suggestion:
go back to English Class. Just because you are a cheerleader at Yale does not make you qualified to post a comment or run a country.

8. But they all tuned in, didn't they. AH HA HA HA HA. So I guess it reflects
all our "values"
Why didn't they think that "Hollywood" would fight back?
