1. "The only female in Academy history to be nominated for playing a boxer."
No shit?

Did you know Jamie Foxx is the only person in Academy history to be nominated for playing Ray Charles?

16. Yeah, I thought that was weird
It seems like there's a lot of options that haven't been taken yet.

I'm thinking that I want to try for "Only female in Academy Award history to be nominated for playing a girl who lives in a treehouse."

Has that been taken yet?

4. I wanted Kate Winslet to win actually
But whatever, I knew it wasn't gonna happen.

Hillary seems really aggressive giving her speech.

Her acceptance speech was not very good, but she is good in "Million Dollar Baby" but I think Kate is even better.

13. I'm glad for Hillary
She gave a great performance... but it would've been sweet if Kate got the award.. but like you said... knew it wasn't going to happen.

17. absolutely true...
she was on Oprah recently, and talked about growing up in a trailer park. Her parents separated, and all her mom could scrape together was $75 and a gas credit card. She and her mom drove to California to explore her dream of being an actress. They ate in the service stations off the credit card, and when they got to California, lived in the car until they made some friends who were selling their house. The friends allowed them to sleep in the house and shower, but they had to leave during the day, as the house was being shown. Then she got the role on that Aaron Spelling series (name, I forget?), and off she went to fame and fortune!
