1. It's barely been winter here.
Spring has come early in Colorado.

3. Spring has come early in Colorado since 1998
I remember the last time they got 10 feet of snow in one year in the mountains. It was way back in 1995 or somesuch. The last really good year for skiing when you could just go and not have to worry about crappy conditions.

6. 2004 wasn't a terribly early spring.
It seemed to shift a lot. We got hammered a few times. But you wonder where our drought is coming from.

7. Well, it says in the Bible that if you anger God
He will hold back the rain. I don't think Focus on the Family is helping in that department ;)

8. So, that's why it's been so dry.
For 7 years no less. It turns out it wasn't just a coincidence.

10. zip in northern il
hardly any snow at all just lots of rain. the main river in northern il.,the rock,is ice free. past winters it would still be full of ice and we be expecting ice jams and flooding. "something is happening and you don`t know what it is"

12. big nor'easter coming to nyc-boston area tomorrow afternoon
according to weather channel. 6 to 10 inches for Boston, 6 to 12 inches for NYC. It's supposed to be wet snow because temps will be hovering around freezing point. :( I hate shovelling when I have a crappy cold.

16. i hope it doesn't come too soon...
i live in houston and we don't have air-conditioning in our house. Broke 2 years ago, and we can't afford to fix it. Ugh. I'm enjoying the cooler weather here, as the heat and humidity will come soon enough.

18. To the other northeasterner.... Whatchotalkinbout???
OK, I've seen worse, but we've already gone through 5 cord of wood! The snow hasn't been too bad though.

I don't know where in the NE you live, but do you remember the winter of 95? Next to nothing for snow and it rarely got below the 30's until......

The second week of Feb, It snowed like crazy just about everyday till the end of March. I have pictures of my daughter in her Easter clothes standing by a giant Snow Bunny she had made. She also used to slide down off the roof. The snow was piled so high she could get up there easily.

So I guess I'd better not complain about this winter. :-)
