Do you have a dishwasher?

I ask this because for a long time, I didn't. No one did the dishes but me. My husband claimed that he just hated to do dishes, and that if we had a dishwasher he'd load it...He feels deprived because he doesn't have everything his mother has (never mind that she has a job!)... So, I got one from my parents for my birthday in September. I'm still the only one that does it.

Just kidding. That was the first thing we put into the house once we bought it. I'll never go without one again. I want to get one of those nice Bosch models that are stainless steel on the inside and run quiet as a light bulb.

Well, to be truthful, my husband always tries to find accommodations with a D/W.

My motherv used to say, "For me, a vacation is just a change of sink!" But Dad finally bought her a portable dishwasher that we moved around the kitchen. That was a big day...but I'm sorry now I didn't help her more. I was a teenager with a French boyfriend and my hormones were running pretty good in high school and beyond.
