Have you ever wondered about bra sizes?
Have you ever wondered why A, B, C, D, DD, E, F, G, and H are the letters used to define bra sizes? If you have wondered why, but couldn't figure out what the letters stood for, it is about time you became informed!

(A} Almost Boobs...

{B} Barely there.

{C} Can't Complain!

{D} Dang!

{DD} Double dang!

{E} Enormous!

{F} Fake.

{G} Get a Reduction.

{H} Help me, I've fallen and I can't get up !

1. LOL!
That about sums it up for me. I'm a natural 44DD who often wishes I were much smaller, frankly. All those women wanting breast implants have no idea what they're in for. It was a total nightmare when I was pregnant, too, they hurt like hell for four solid months.

I am a 40 DD to DDD/E depending on the bra, What a nightmare shopping for bras is. I want a breast reduction but I do not want to go through with another major surgery (I am a cancer survivor, several exploratories and two total hip replacements {same hip})

Does not help that I am also exceptionally tall, so the "girls" are nearly eye level for many folks.

10. It seems to be easy in the USA...
from reading your post, I guess in about 5 years I would become a professional. But in Europe, we have even more complex numbers combined with the letters. Ranging from 75A to Double-D 80 c.

I immigrate!

Helpless in Germany,
Dirk

13. Women...
Women take themselves too seriously. If guys were women, we would have about at least 890 different pants-sizes. 3 Letters combined with 20 Numbers in every combination possible.

Hiding in Germany,
Dirk

15. Bra sizing tips....
For the band size, measure around the body, just under the arms, with a measuring tape. Remember to stand up straight and breathe normally. If the measurement is an uneven number, round up to the next even number.

To determine your cup size, you'll need to measure around your body at the fullest part of the bust. Be certain the measuring tape is secure against your back.

Subtract the first measurement (the underarm measurement) from the second measurement (the bust) and look at the following chart to determine your cup size.

Difference Between
Bust and Band Measurement- Cup Size
Up to 1" larger- A
Up to 2" larger- B
Up to 3" larger- C
Up to 4" larger- D
Up to 5" larger- DD/E
Up to 6" larger- F/DDD
Up to 7" larger- G
Up to 8" larger- H

I went around with badly fitting bras for years (uncomfortable to say the least) and nope, not telling. :D

20. Under the ARM?
Not under the boobs?

I thought the band measurement was for the part that goes around your chest just under the boobage, hence my assumption that you would measure under the boobs.

Geez... to think I've been doing it wrong all this time!

21. I've seen it both ways.
Something about under the boob where you have to add 3 inches gets me confused though, so I find this works better. My straps don't fall down anymore anyway. :D

I went to some specialty store where they fit you, so I just kept trying on the bras the saleslady brought until I found one that fit. She didn't even bother with the measuring thing. Guess she's got a good eye.

I kid you not. I don't know how that woman can walk upright and not have a broken back, but she does. Seeing her without a bra is a bit scary, though... and that is coming from someone who is a DD.

Peace,
Bella

37. Breast reduction
There is a new surgery that uses ultrasound to loosen the fat tissue, rather than the traditional method. There is almost no scarring, and it is very easy recovery.

I know they are doing this at Tulane, and the professor who developed the technique is at Vanderbuilt. I know my sister had this and was extraordianrily imrpessed. My aunt had a traditional reduction and had huge problems with it.

30. i wear a 38 DDD (E) but I am pretty sure I could actually wear
a 36 F because I have a small ribcage and though I am over weight, not a great deal of fat on my back.

I have dents in my shoulders that are quite visible

blouses that fit in the shoulders and sleeve length can't be buttoned.

Forget about a shirtwaist type dress, the boobs pull the waistline up to the bottom of my rib cage. My natural waist is far closer to my hips.

backaches, neck aches

my daughter prays that she doesn't have a growth spurt in her boobs like I did at around her age. She is perfectly balanced and would like to stay that way
