phone weirdness: what's the deal?
My phone doesn't ring. The ringer position is set ON.

I tried hooking up 2 other phones. THen calling from my cell phone. THe caller-id section lights up, but none of the phones ring.

What's going on? Can the signal from the phone company cause phones not to ring?

1. i would maybe call your local phone service provider
it has got to be something with the setup/wiring if 3 phones all don't ring on the same jack.

keep in mind that if there is a possible wiring problem inside your house you will most likely foot the bill.

but give them a call and hopefully they can give you some direction as to where and what the problem is.
