Did you have Presidents' Day off today and how did you celebrate?

1. No and to top it off...

I got yelled at by a crazy-ass professor who had it out for me today. She stops her lesson, walks over to me and says "English is not my first language, and I am not an exercise physiologist so don't laugh at me!". I kinda had to do a double take because I had no friggen clue why she was calling me out like that. The class is major league boring and I wasn't paying attention to her lesson at all, but I was NOT laughing at her. She did the same thing to a friend of mine last week (she wasn't laughing at her either). I really wish this lady would have spoken to me outside of class if she had a problem and not chastised me like a 2nd grader. She will not be getting a good student eval at the end of the semester from me!

2. Thank GOD I had it off

but a lot of my clients didn't, so I'm a tad nervous about going to the office tomorrow & handling all of the voice mails, especially since I'm backing someone up who's on vacation.

Nothing like cramming 5 days of work into a 4 day work-week, especially since I have double the clients. . .

That said, I wouldn't trade in the free day today for anything.

3. I could have had it off, but I was bribed heavily to volunteer to

come in and take phone calls: the bribe?

double pay, a catered lunch, and casual dress.

I can pull in some time and 1/2 the next two days too and will get free lunch those days as well.

4. I had the day off

I celebrated by making homemade spaghetti sauce and roasting a chicken.

Making dinner the rest of the week is going to be pretty easy now.

Tomorrow night, chicken soup. Thursday night, chicken parm w/ spaghetti.

Hot dogs on Wednesday.

Friday... fend for yourself.

5. I celebrated by not putting on any clothes all day.

6. I didn't (up in Canada) -- but I did celebrate ...

I donated a whole bunch of political documentaries (e.g. "Outfoxed", "Unconstitutional", etc.) to my local library, to emphasize how some Americans are least are trying to get a new President worthy of the name!
