1. I like to go straight from the heart clinic
where i spend much of the day telling patients to eat healthy food, straight to Wendy's. There's something about the irony that makes it even more delicious.

it's something different as opposed to the burger joints. Maybe Roy Rogers second...there's something about that resturant that reminds me of the Jersey Turnpike

42. yes! Harvey's is by far the BEST
can't get it here in Michigan. We always make it a point to stop at Harvey's when we visit my family in Ontario. The ORIGINAL Harvey's is in Waterloo on King street @ Weber, maybe you know that though (?).

Harvey's makes a hamburger, a beautiful thing :)

in Richmond Hill, ON.

I love their T-Shirts

MEAT

GOOD

although the seasoned fries suck, their burgers are the best.

Hardly a block without a Mexican Restaurant. About half of them are run by actual Mexicans; about one tenth of them are acceptable.
So far I have found two in the city, which can be considered "Good".

36. I despise cheese, so Burger King is far superior to McDonald's or Wendy's
McDonalds insists on cheese on virtually every burger. If you order without, it takes forever for them to make it and you still pay the damn price that includes cheese. Wendy's, at least my local one, plasters the disgusting yellow crap on my singles even when I beg them not to. They think it's some sort of bonus.

Whoppers dominate. Whenever I stray from Burger King for a while, I wonder what the hell I was thinking once I dig into a Whopper, or three, again.

However, if you include Subway as fast food then there's no question that's my choice. It's the only quickie joint that makes me feel better and healthier departing than arriving. I love the footlong turkey breast with gobs of veggies and the honey mustard. Plus I can watch them smack in front of me and make sure they don't include the gruesome cheese, unlike pathetic Wendy's.

30. Nobody mentioned Jack in the Crack
they actually have decent onion rings. And for variety, they have pretty big menu, although I tend to stick to the regular 2 for a buck tacos. They also have the best commercials (or at least used to - Jack running around doing stuff - I don't know, don't have tv anymore, I know they still have antenna balls???)

58. Sonic is great, isn't it?
I worked there for a couple of years and they paid, by far, the highest hourly wage out of all the fast food places in our area, which was $7.50 where I live. It doesn't sound like much, but when every other place in town is paying $5.15, you're grateful for that extra $2.35.

It's also a VERY blue company.

62. Since Harvey's and Swiss Chalet
are both owned by the same company, how about opening them both??!!!

Some of the supermarkets now carry the dipping sauce...it's powdered, not quite as good as the restaurant's, but still an acceptable substitute.

I'd miss a lot of Canadian foods if I left...the biggest would be Crispy Crunches. I love those! (and Harvey's pickles)

Poutine, the coronary in a bowl; Michigan burgers and dogs..or for something completely different, the teeny burgers at Dic-Ann's (no, they're nothing like White Castle).

That's when on vacation in Quebec. Here, it would be Sonic if there was one closer than 400 miles from where I live. They're driving me nuts by advertising on the television in New England, when the closest one is in Ohio or Virginia. WHY, WHY DO THEY TORTURE ME LIKE THAT???
