23. I (almost) invariably VOTE Democratic Party,

but I've been "libertarian-socialist", from about the time I was 18. I don't think my mind is "locked shut", and take on all challengers with AT LEAST the civility I receive. But I pay close attention to those who "defect" in later years, and ask myself honestly "why?" each time.

Just don't BLAME it all on me!! Actually, we're all sort of complicit in much of what has taken place; if only by our silence. The trick is finding a survivable balance between speaking/acting out as best as we can, without getting physically destroyed in the process.

Thinking over past events, I think I've erred on the side of caution too many times. But at 75.00, I now have far fewer hostages to reprisal than I did when I was 18. My main concern at this point in time, is to make sure I don't get ambushed by a Theocratic Ambulance-Chaser, who would try to wring a Deathbed Conversion out of my last gasp.
