My body tried to strangle itself, they were the size of golfballs, at the age of 8!!!!

7. Nope -- they're actually useful
Trap bacteria and viruses and produce antibodies (they're just not especially good at their job and get sick all the time -- like some people I know).

8. The gallbladder is still extremely useful, however
even though you can live without it...

It makes the digestion of fat much more efficient...

11. There's a tribe of people in Africa
who share parenting responsibilities equally between men and women. While the women go off to tend the fields, the men tend to matters of the home, allowing their babies to suckle from their breasts.

Some of these men even produce milk.

I read this in a book on breastfeeding when I was pregnant with my second child. I couldn't get Mr GoG interested in helping, though...
