I watched a series on animal planet a couple of years ago, and they are over the top. If you called bush a gorilla, that would be an insult to all gorillas. Bonobos seem to be pretty cool too.

7. I lived with a family for a summer in Africa- they had a baby chimp

as a pet. It was amazingly human like- from the hands and face to the toddler like tantrums!

8. Ya, after I posted this, I tried some research,

via google. Seems that unattached male gorillas are much more likely to perform infanticide that chimps, at least according to one study that I don't have the math to really understand.
