Who is going to win the Westminster Dog Show
Edited on Tue Feb-15-05 03:01 PM by LynneSin
I love watching that Dog show and it was on last night and will be on again tonight.

Here are the "Best in Class" winners from last night. Will one of these be a winner or will it be someone else from tonight's competition that'll win "Best in Show"

Last night Winners:
Working Class: Great Pyrnees:

Terrier Class: Norfolk Terrior:

(wasn't this the breed that won in the movie "Best in Show"?)

Toy Class: Pekingese:

Non-Sporing Class: Tibitien Terrior:

Tonights Competition includes:

Sporting
Hounds
Herding

So is the winner one of these 4 or do you think it'll be someone from tonight's class?

7. If the border collie doesn't win
you know it was rigged.

"If it's not a border collie, then it's just a dog".

23. I had a border collie named Mist...
She had some sort of congenital liver defect, and sadly, only lived to about 5...

I've always felt that border collies were above dog shows...

26. so sad..........
My Misty died of cancer at the age of 10...cancer of the liver no less.....

Border Collies rarely win dog shows because they don't get to run the show......:) :)

11. Maybe that new breed will win - the Neopolitan Mastiff.
Edited on Tue Feb-15-05 03:39 PM by Bunny
Have you seen how BIG that thing is?? 190 pounds, I think I read somewhere. That's not a dog, that's a farking horse!

Anyway, I think that until either a Pug or an English Bulldog wins, it's all rigged.

14. Very cool dog, but any flaw shows right through.
First time I saw one of these things, it was a picture of a reporter at John Gotti's house. He had a huge one that could look over the top of his fence. Had to be 200 pounds.

These are great dogs, very protective, with a silent confidence.

13. Did Bellagio the Neapolitan Mastiff show yet?
I'd think he would be in the hounds...The last show this weekend the Bloodhound won, so I'm seeing a shift to the less froo-froo dogs, so I'll say A Bull terrior or the Mastiff or even a Sheepdog, will win...

19. Poodle cuts make me laugh...
My older son used to get really upset with me for laughing at some of the breeds; but the poodles, pekes, skyes, and those pups that look like automated mops go bounding along the runway, it's tooooo funny!

21. My vote is the Pyranees
What a pretty dog. I had a co-worker one buy that breed because she was told that because of the white fur they have very low dander and good for folks with allergies. And she was very happy with the breed
