Well...Anything that doesn't involve heavy lifting, that is. Good thing I have a few vicodins left from when I had my wisdom teeth pulled. I'm gonna need one tomorrow. (or two)

Oy.

1. To which chain gang do you belong?
Do you have to move the pile BACK tomorrow?

3. Fortunately, I'm done.
Dad collects cars. He decided to make a small "parking lot" in his back yard. When I offered to help, I had no idea the scope of his little project. His back is too old to do the grunt work, so I shoveled, and he raked. For once, I'm glad that I have a cube farm job.

2. 6.5 tons, what do you get?
4.875 months older and deeper in debt?

5. More like a backache, and mosquito bites.
Tennessee Ernie was correct about the "day older" bit.

10. No, but I'm willing to learn.
Rush can't be wrong 100% of the time, can he?

(or CAN HE?)

9. Ben-Gay And Horse Liminant?
I believe you're going to have to soak in it tomorrow.

That and self-medication of Wild Turkey to kill the pain.

11. Wild Turkey?!?!
To (mis)quote my favorite movie: "Buncha savages on this board..."

I prefer Makers Mark or Elijah Craig or public toilet water to that stuff.

(two points to the first one to name the movie I mis-quoted)

12. A few years back I shoveled 7 tons by myself!!!! Never again!!!!
The gravel truck that delivered it couldn't spread it because of a power line, it was going to rain, so I spread all 7 tons out the best I could with a shovel and wheel barrow. I was at the chiropractor's office the next day.

13. Same here!
Power lines prevented the driver from spreading it out, so I was left with a pile of limestone five feet high and six feet square. Nasty bit of work, it was. I'm gonna be a basketcase tomorrow. On the positive side, I feel like I can skip visiting the gym for a few days. Thank bob.

14. Yep, it put muscles on my bustle, but I was too wiped to appreciate
the workout. I think I would have sold an organ for a bobcat that day!
Ice helps. Hope it doesn't take too long for you to recuperate! :)
