Dammit, DU - if I fail law school it's all your fault!
Seriously, I haven't been able to stick with my Contracts assignment for squat this morning because I have to check DU every ten minutes or so.
Stop being so damn interesting!

Actually, law school's going pretty good. So watch yer ass, Ashcroft!

1. You know, I have the same problem
I'm sitting here at my desk in the dorm with one eye on my computer and one on my statistics homework. It's slowing me down on the homework, but I just can't stop myself!

2. Just took the LSAT
Last Saturday. What a nightmare of a test! I'm 37 and decided to make a little career change. Really, I've been interested in law for years but was a struggling single mom just trying to make ends meet. Finally, I'm in a position to give it a shot.

So, how is it? I want to use my powers for good and not evil, so I'm definitely not in it for the money.

And yes, I was the oldest person in the room taking the test. Sigh.

Good luck!

3. It's TERRIFIC
Hey, Red_Viking...we are very similar. I'm 41 and am a 2L in law school now. I had wanted to go since high school, but life intervened.

It's really challenging, but in a wonderful way. You are surrounded by extremely intelligent people and are constantly challenged to better yourself.

Hope the LSAT went well and you get into the school of your choice! Good luck.

4. good luck and go get 'em!
I'm 31, just starting law school after a solid decade or so of thinking about it. This has probably been one of the best decisions of my adult life (that and bamboozling Ms. Northernsoul into shacking up with me). Despite today's slack-fest, I'm absolutely intrigued by everything I'm learning and the applications in the real world.

Don't worry about becoming a big, bad evil lawyer. Those are actually pretty few and far between from what I'm learning.

Any thoughts about where you'll be attending school?

5. Be prepared for 12-14 hours days.
And week-ends.
My son-in-law is going nuts. He's about 7 years out of law school. Decided the law firm life is not for him. Looking for a position as in house counsel with a large corporation or university.
Good luck to you all though.
