26. The simple, yet intricate, little passes
of Henry and the other Arsenal forwards as they bear down on the opposing goal, are sublime aren't they? Particularly, of course, when they end in a goal. One of one of the pathologists in CSI reminds me of Henry, in his appearance.

34. I loved watching them last year.
Nobody plays prettier football (yeah, I call it football) then Arsenal when they're on top of their game.

Every time I watch the big Italian teams in the Champions League, I'm always impressed by them. I'd love to be able to watch them on a week-to-week basis.

7. Crystal Palace
Yeah I know they aren't very good but I have been a fan of them for many years now, through good times and bad. If they can just manage to stay up I'll be happy as a clam. Ian Dowie will make it happen, the man is a genius.

Go Eagles!

19. Spanish League is overrated
When Real Madrid played Bayrn Levurkson, Real Madrid looked like 11 drinks trying to kick a bunny rabbit and they lost 3-0. Bayern Levurkson isn't even in the top 5 of the Deutchland Bundesliga.

27. overrated isn't the real issue
The big problem withe the major Spanish clubs (even including Barcelona), is that their wealth and success are based on the extensive real estate holdings given to them by Franco.

How is it that a Spanish football club or any European football club for that matter raise supplemental funds.

30. There is not much to explain
Edited on Sat Feb-12-05 07:00 PM by Kellanved
Real Madrid owns a significant percentage of Madrid. The money earned from the Real Estate is used to keep the club running (which is a laughingstock, considering the names and payroll).

Edit: as to how they are allowed to rasie funds: that's a national affair, Most nations (or rather: most national football leagues) allow pretty much any means of getting money.
