44. And it's one target I don't want to hit.
Oh, I know what middle age is supposed to be for me if we cut my mortality date in half. I think I'll die at 86, which would have put middle age back when I was 43. I don't think so!

Took an Internet test to check my life expectancy (those visions on the road in front of the Cornerstone Baptist Church might not be trustworthy) and it said that if I don't lose 20 pounds, I'll die at 93.

If I don't lose 20 pounds and die seven years later, who cares? It still puts middle age at 46.5 years.

I certainly hope it's a moving target! I'm thinking I hit middle age about 50-something. Certainly a year or two younger than I am now, but today seems a good day - at my age - to be middle aged.

If you understood any of that, you're either exceptionally intelligent or have passed the age of Senior Discount at Denny's.

14. I would say 45 to 50 too...
30 is far too young for middle aged. I'm insulted... I'm only 4 years off from 30. My husband is only 2 years off from it. We're still young. Why are they trying to rush the middle age thing?

37. I'll go with that.
I disagree with the kids at a young age part. I am a week away from having a teenager (was a mom at 20) and I still have lots of energy and am usually mistaken for someone ten years younger. There's plenty of fuddy duddies out there who have never spawned.

when you started to ballroom dance to rock and roll tunes. But with us baby boomers I think the definition of middle age will be pushed back beyond late 40's. At least that's what I keep telling myself.
